Michel and I moved from Ottawa to Calgary 2 years ago to be closer to the mountains in our retirement. After a trip to Silver Star we decided that this is where we wanted to spend our time in the winter. There was no looking back! While in Ottawa I participated in several  World Loppets (not always the full distances): Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Austria, Italy, Germany and of course the Gatineau Loppet.  My favourite was the Marccialonga (light) in Italy!

Last year I completed the short S2S and it was so much fun! I am planning to participate again this year….Joining the Silver Hares has allowed me to meet loads of new people, which I really enjoy. I feel blessed to spend my winters here, a Nordic skiing paradise!
