Doug has been skiing XC and downhill at Silver Star for 20 years.  Arriving in Vernon in the 2000s he was an avid backcountry skier and then gradually discovered Nordic.  He served as a volunteer coach in Sovereign Lake for many years in the skill development program. Currently he is a volunteer Nordic mountain host at Silver Star, and is delighted to be part of Silver Hares!
