Another fun Silver Hares get together with about 60 of us. With all the fresh snow overnight on Friday we expected some pretty soft punchy conditions Sat. am but surprisingly not so much . Yes the skate track was not as firm as we might wish but still very good and the classic tracks were as good as it gets

 

The Après ski at the Black Pine saw about 30 us taking every remaining seat available and we could have used more     

 A big shout out to the volunteer leaders showing up to help make this session another success. The beginning of the week it looked like we were going to be a bit thin on leaders but low and behold 14 of you showed up to once again give us great coverage. 

 

We will start featuring volunteer leader profiles soon on our website which I am hoping will go live this week sometime. When you first check it out realize the site will evolve as we dial it in over time.

 

You will all be getting a Google form poll next few days asking 5 questions about future activities.

3 – Day trip to Kelowna Nordic Feb 10th 

 

4 – Adding a Silver Hares ski day on Wednesdays

 

5 – Helping Cyndy and myself on the S2S volunteer services team

Thanks to all of you whom have taken care of the waiver. If you have not already done so I’ve attached one on this email. You can print / fill out and bring to session, No printer you can fill out electronically and send via computer, Not familiar with that last method ( Like Me ) we always have hard copies with us at every session  but please come early to take care of this. I do not want to become like the ” Soup Nazi ” on Seinfeld heheheh “No waiver no ski for you’
