Ski Day-Recap 2.8.25

It was a bit more chilly on the trail than we’ve gotten used to this season  but at ski start still more like most years gone by at -11 . By session end we were at a pretty agreeable  -8 and we never had any wind though some light flurries.

Those flurries through the night provided a couple inches powder. From reports the powder didn’t affect the classic tracks much but did make the skaters work a bit more than would otherwise on the upper trails . The lower trails were groomed much later and were not as affected the fresh powder and it was very light , dry and fluffy not providing much resistance at all.

Smiling Silver Hares

Bingo!

First, Holy Smokes what a night our Bingo, sooo much fun, so much laughter,  singing and spontaneous dancing, what a HOOT!
There were 53 Silver Hares Daubing away on their cards winning some very cool prizes. Please check out the pics and a few video clips bottom this email. This evening was truly special, I had a smile on my face the whole evening, no small thing for those that know me well

If ever anyone is wondering whether or not we are successfully building community you only had to be there, just amazing, thanks everybody

Sandy

Silver Hare's Toques and Headband order

Please fill out the google form if you are interested, we will offer blue headbands, blue toques and black toques. It would be helpful to know how many we should order. Final cost will be determined by the quantity we order but expect $30-$35, is my guess. If more than that will advise you soon as I know.
